University students in Mali encounter many employment challenges after graduation. To support a smooth transition to the WASH/ environmental engineering workforce, AFR’eau developed and delivered a module at Mali’s National Engineering University on Professional Development. This training module allowed for Master’s students, 53% of which were women to :

• Update theirs CVS
• Write a motivation letter
• Learn about interview questions
• Meet recruiters in the WASH sector in Mali

AFR’eau contributed in institutionalizing this training module in the curriculum of environmental engineering students at the National School of Engineers and seeks for opportunities to scale it up and extend to multiple universities in Bamako, Mali and beyond.
